University of Southampton Karting Championship

The Wessex Motor Club is now in its fifth successful year of hosting the University of Southampton Karting Championship. The Karting Championship offers a variety of indoor and outdoor tracks each with different racing formats. We organise short sprint style races and this year we are also organising an endurance style race following last years hugely successful and popular event.

The Karting Championship is divided into two categories: the Championship, which is contested by all members of the Club, and the Challenge, which is contested by all the members of the Club minus the Karting Team drivers, who also race in the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC). This gives any up and coming novice drivers the chance to win some silverware!
